In leather design, collaboration can yield innovative and unique creations. At AJH Leather Designs, we offer two distinct services tailored for designers seeking to translate their concepts into high-quality leather products.
1. **Collaborative Projects**: This service is designed for designers who wish to co-create. In this arrangement, both parties work together, sharing the creative process equally. The benefits of this collaboration include joint credit for the final product and a shared revenue model. Both designers will split the sales generated from the collaboration and the associated costs and profits. This partnership is formalized through a contractual agreement to ensure clarity and mutual understanding.
2. **Intake Designer Services**: This service is tailored for designers who prefer to maintain full credit for their designs. In this scenario, the intake designer is responsible for the costs associated with hardware, leather, and any other materials required for the project. It is important to note that any designs created under this service will remain confidential; I will not disclose or present these designs on social media or to the public without the explicit permission of the intake designer. This service is billed at a rate of $40 per active hour, where "active" refers to the time spent directly working on the intake designer's project.
Effective communication is crucial for the success of these collaborations. To facilitate this, we utilize platforms such as Slack for ongoing discussions, Zoom for virtual meetings, or phone calls as needed. This ensures that all parties remain aligned throughout the design process, fostering a productive and creative environment.
